Preparation of my favorite carb-salads in the morning. I precooked rice and noodles for a few days, then i mix it with fresh salad, lime juice and spices such as salt, pepper, chilli and ginger. My favourite is the rice salad with green beans. I tried a new rice preparation: cook rice with a little oil in a pan with nutmeg and cardamon, then pour vegetable stock over the rice and cook about 25 minutes. Then i let it cool down and store it in the fridge. Cold rice salad is refreshing in summer! The wholemeal spaghetti i cook as usual for about 10-15 minutes, then i mix it with spices and a little portion olive oil. In combination with salad it is also very tasty. Both salads are great food to take away for work!
