I was outdoors today and did a progressive training with strength bands – just with 2-3 strength bands you can train with a resistance up to 20-30 kg and place an effective impulse on your muscles. Make sure you take strength bands with you when you go running next time!
Question:
Can a personal trainer take on a two-on-one session with an overweight and average weight person? Can they juggle it and have both people working hard at their different levels?
Answer:
In general yes, but the sense of “Personal” Training is to train one-on-one. This is far more individual and effective, because two different persons have two different needs.
The overweight person, for example, maybe is not able to go running to avoid the joints and back beeing overstressed, whereas the average weight person will be not trained well enough if you adopt the training to the overweight person.
I would only recommend booking a training session for two persons when they have a similar fitness and health level to guarantee effective coaching and best results.

Today a great training machine attracted my attention: Water Workx Multigym.
It is phenomenal that finally a strength training machine with water resistance has been realized, until now as is known the “Water Rower” was the only machine with water resistance. The Water Rower has been invented by an american rower named John Duke. This principle has been applied to built a strength training station, and I think it is a bummer – idea and design. Additionally, with 65 kg weight without water, it is a leightweight compared to other training stations. If you ever needed to reorganize a fitness center as a trainer, you may have sweared because of the weight of machines with usual weight stacks
The production of this machine is more eco friendly as the production of its steely collegues – this means it is recommendable for holistic training at home (or in Spas). The training resistance appears according to the training speed of movement and this is, regarding funcionality aspects, useful because you have to activate the body core (or just “Core”) for a lot of exercises. The training with water resistance offers a natural and stageless resistance regulation and allows, so to speak, “fluent” movements. For fans of “Core” training respectively functional training this also is a elegant training alternative.

A “Spa Menu” gives an overview about the services of a spa. Depending on the thematic approach of a spa, you will have the choice between service variations from the following areas:
The term “Medical Wellness” describes methods and treatments which focus on human health prevention or improvement. Plannings and implementation of methods and treatments are based on scientifically or alternative medical diagnosis.
If a doctor diagnoses his client with any critical health condition, e.g. high blood pressure, a program to improve this condition will be implemented, such as change of nutritional habits and a regular training pattern. If you want to prevent a burnout syndrome, you may include sport, relaxation techniques and massages in your weekly schedule.
Today, spas and hotels of high standad offer several medical wellness services under one roof. This allows medical diagnosis and suitable treatments by specialists in one place and makes the workflow easier.
The category groups, which are frequently connected to „Medical Wellness“, are the following
• Medicine (traditional / alternative medicine)
• Health science (health prevention, consulting)
• Sport and nutrition (with/without trainer or consultant)
• Wellness methods and treatments (massages, treatments, relaxation arrangements)
• Cosmetics (dermatologic treatments, individual treatments)
• Hotel comfort (suitable atmosphere, high competency, high service quality)
• Therapy arrangements (physio- / psychotherapy)
